How to Start/Stop AutoCorrect in Mac OS X (4-steps)

Not everyone likes it when Auto-Correct “fixes” their spelling.  So here is a way to turn it ON or OFF as you see fit.

1) Open System Preferences on your Mac:

2) Click on Keyboard pane

3) Click on Text tab
03sysPrefText

4) unCheck “Correct spelling automatically”
04sysPrefAutoCorrect

Back your way out to the Desktop!
